Dave first heard Joel Salatin on the Joe Rogan Experience years ago and immediately was hooked.  Having been in the FFA in high school, Dave has always been a fan of agriculture but, as par for the course in the 90's, was never encouraged to pursue farming as it was for old men or uneducated young ones but that all changed when he heard Joel's passionate plea for the return to regenerative agriculture.  When COVID lockdowns hit and for the first time food shortages were real, Dave became more serious about learning as much as he could about raising livestock and he and his kids went and bought 25 baby chicks.  He was hooked and with a lot of study, hard work and good luck Dave secured the lease on 20 acres to start pursuing his dream.  Supplying pastured poultry, eggs, sheep, goats and maybe even some rabbits, pigs and beef, Dave is excited to grow his passion into a full-fledged operation supplying customers fresh meat and animal products in the greater Charlotte area.
